Harrison Smith are leading electrical specialists providing services to the Canterbury region.

Harrison Smith started and is still run, as the joint venture of two highly experienced electricians, Ray Harrison and Jason Smith.

Ray is originally from London and has over 10 years’ experience working within the electrical industry; this experience has been gained across the world in countries including the UK, Dubai and NZ. Ray has a background working on large scale commercial projects, switchboard engineering and industrial maintenance. He has worked on many world renowned projects including the shard (Europe’s tallest building) in London. And Dubai international airport (which was the largest construction site in the world at its time). He has experience in site management, project management and estimating.
Before co-founding Harrison Smith, Ray was working as a Contracts Manager for a local electrical business and before that he worked for one of NZ's largest electrical contractors as an Electrical Estimator.

Jason was born and raised in Christchurch and has been involved in the construction industry from a young age.
After a few years of building Jason moved into the electrical industry and has been involved with it ever since.
He has experience working on both residential and commercial projects, and has a strong knowledge of all things electrical.
As everyone else he started his career as an apprentice, but qualified fast and soon moved into Foreman and then Site Management roles.
As well as being a qualified electrician Jason also holds a diploma in project management.
